C. Douglas Aldridge, BS, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Aldridge graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987. He is a devoted husband and a father of four.
He has practiced at Westwood Veterinary Hospital since graduating.
The Aldridge family has five dogs, nine cats, two turtles. He has special interests in laser surgery & Dr. Aldridge is actively involved in the Oklahoma State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
He has served on the Board of Directors for the OKVMA, and also served on the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission. He is active in the McLish Church of Christ.
Stacey is Dr. Aldridge’s Practice Manager. She has been at Westwood Veterinary since September 2002′. Patient education plays a large role in her daily interactions with patients. Stacey loves all the hands-on treatment the hospital has to offer, ranging from greeting new clients to helping out with surgery. She strives to give every individual a personal one on one care. She says, “When you come to our hospital, you are greeted with a knowledgeable, caring, and informative veterinary team. All of us here enjoy giving excellent, quality care. We work together to give you, the patient, personalized attention. This means whatever our patient’s individual needs are, we are there for them, from check in to check out.” Stacey enjoys the diversity of her position and being able to help the patient either during treatment or after.
She helps keep the hospital running smoothly, scheduling our staff and training personnel as well as managing our accounts receivable and payable.
She has four beautiful children, Joel, Spencer, Preston & Sydney who enrich her life every day. She is a dedicated wife and mother, and loves spending time with her family is her favorite thing to do.
They also have 6 fur babies, Chica, Chihuahua; Annie Jo-Goldendoodle, Rylee, Addison, & David Allen, Australian Shepherds, our newest addition Piper, Powder Puff Chinese Crested.
Kaitlin is Dr. Aldridge’s oldest child and spent a lot of time at the clinic growing up. She graduated from Plainview High School in 04′ and after graduation went to school at Oklahoma State University where she got her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Kaitlin worked at Westwood after school and on school breaks from 2001 to 2008. In 2009 she went to Orlando, FL to work at Walt Disney World. While she had fun, she missed her family so she moved back to Ardmore in May 2014 and has been working as Westwoods receptionist ever since. Kaitlin has 3 cats& 3 dogs. Yoda, a corgi, can sometimes be seen hanging out behind the counter in the lobby.
Jayme started working part-time in January of 2016 and became our full-time kennel attendant in April of 2017. She and her husband own a cattle ranch and her favorite past time is raising bottle calves. Her dog Wylie can be seen napping in one of the lobby chairs. Jayme graduated from East Central University with a BA in biology in 2015 Jayme enjoys taking care of our borders and petting her favorite clinic cat Calli.
Amber is a second-year veterinary technician student at San Juan University. She is originally from Yukon, Oklahoma. She graduated from Yukon High School in 2014. While at Yukon High School she showed livestock, and later went on to show cattle at Connors State College.
She has had a love for animals both large and small her entire life. She has a miniature Australian shepherd named Annie Oakley. She makes it a point to not only provide exceptional care to her patients but to also make sure her clients are well informed and comfortable with their fur babies care.
Chassi is a soon to be graduate of the Murray State College Veterinary Technology Program in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She is a wife and a mother of two adorable boys (Hayden & Landon). She has a house full of fur babies; two rescue chihuahuas (Chico & Lucy), and three crazy cats (Tigg, Oliver, & Sophie).
She has had a passion for caring for animals for as long as she can remember. She wants to provide the best care for her patients and keep them as comfortable as possible during every stage of life.
